...cleaning supplies...

i received my seventh generation cleaning supplies. thus far, they've been great. i cleaned my bathroom with them. i think the biggest difference is that there are hardly any fumes or scents with them. i love it. while i'm a fan of the cleaning product smell, just because it is synonymous with cleanliness. i am such a fan of the pure clean feeling they have left. the scents are natural and are not harsh. i don't feel the need to gag while i'm in the room with them. i think this will be great for blake as well. having a 20 month old in the room with me while i'm cleaning, because he always has to help, isn't the best idea in the world. but i feel much safer using the seventh generation cleaning products.

i was so inspired by seventh generation, that i went to my local kroger grocery store. i was so happy to find their 'green' section. i used my wonderful seventh generation coupon for $1.50 off laundry products. it happened to be cheaper in the store than was was on soap.com. i can't wait to use it soon. i am hoping that i fall in love with the natural scents of seventh generation products.

...farmer's market...

i went to the farmer's market yesterday. they didn't have much. i was bummed. there isn't a whole lot in season right now. i will have to wait on my 'green' veggies and fruits. but i was happy to find that there a lot of places in berea that are green friendly and promote being green. i joined sustainable berea online for their newsletter. they have lots of green ideas and tons of programs. i think, logan and i are going to try to go to their garden workshop. we want to plant an herb garden and i want to plant flowers! yeah for spring, too bad it is going to be in the 50s tomorrow. i am so loving the 70s.

...seventh generation...

we all know that i'm a coupon queen. anything i can do to save money, but what about saving money and saving our planet at the same time. i'm willing to jump on the green bandwagon to see what impact i can have. i started with finding seventh generation diapers for a lot cheaper online, than what i can pay for them in the store. i am in love with them! they are wonderful. we took a trip to ikea this weekend as well, it got me thinking green and minimal. we are going minimal in our house. i'm hoping we can be happier in simplicity.

today i checked my e-mail. what should i find? an e-mail for 20% off on all green and eco friendly products from soap.com! for 20% off, i checked it out. i was so happy to find tons of seventh generation products for super cheap, even got free shipping! i spent about 20 dollars and got...
  • dish detergent
  • rinse aid
  • dish soap
  • multi-purpose spray cleaner
  • disinfecting wipes
i kind of regret not trying to laundry detergent now! i may order it tomorrow?! if anyone is interested in the coupon code, it is GREENDC20 . it is good through wednesday. also, if you're interested in seventh generation products. just sign-up online for free coupons. i found quite a few. also, you can use soap.com just like diapers.com. they take manufacturers coupons. even more discounts. yipee.

...we're going green...

and we're going green in the greene-king household!
